How can I help?

What can volunteers do at the CRC? What do we need done? How the heck do we manage new vollies?

  • Case tracking - very important, job one
  • Potline staffing - waiting for calls
  • Button making - can be done all the time
  • Neighborhood cleaning - parking lot, across the street
  • Office organizing - make us work better
  • New member cards - when necessary
  • Zine mailing - when necessary

Scheduling

What volunteer "positions" do we need filled on the regular? One person can make the CRC run, but honestly, this place needs multiple bodies. Just hanging outside and chatting with neighbors can be a full time job some days.

  • Opener - staff the office from 10am - 2:30pm.
  • Closer - staff the office from 1:30pm - 6pm.
  • Phoney - staff the phone, triage potline calls, case tracking, etc.
