Notes:

Olson trial - YAY! Pam is done w/ her sentence, early even. Consensus of Judge Mills being a great judge and top runner for pocket judge. Lots of discussion on NORML's Atty's network per Aaron Pelley. Per Allison, memes of case made it to B'Ham of what an incredulous injustice. Craigslist proved the most effective draft of random people coming to the courtroom to observe. Bruce an dPam are very grateful for our organization.

Kitsap v. Musgrove - Glenn is a quad from a doctors mistake he won a lawsuit that provides finances for care, Milo & May are caregivers for Glenn, had near 100 plants, controlled buy of a drug other than medical marijuana, has been a mmj pt since 1998, needs love.

Pierce v. Byers - (hearsay from here on out-- both cases have been absorbed by Judge Orlando, one case was w/ a biased judge who is a friend of the raiding detectives father, there is no evidence, oldest case on deockets before going to trial, Orlando scolded prosecutor when mmj recom was presented. Trial session (it says jury trial on the court schedule but there was no jury present) today was continued until May 4th 8:30am due to mother of Michaels daughter not being present. This case needs media coverage and tons of love if Orlando doesn't dismiss. Michaels sister (whip me w/ whet noodles but her name starts w/ a D).

Pierce v. La Tinta - Vito is supposed to do volunteer hours w/ us for his community service, we have the forms, just waiting for the volunteer.

Mason County v. Reed/Mower - hearing was Monday (today) waiting for update from Doug. This case is somehow being combined with other for an appeals to some precedence (this needs clarified).

Okanogan v. Peter - April 13. Marcy Peter, Dr. Orvald, see wiki notes. Verify case number, which court, who is counsel etc.

Ephrata from Potline call - CBR Medical patient Kemp case resumes on 4/20 in grant county, Aaron says Grant is hardest county in state as far as random busting and arrest calls Grant county "come on vacation leave on probabation", Kemp had no plants only dirt and root balls as evidence.

We provide community hours for anybody who has them in debt. (insert link to form here)

Counties that need some help evolving to 2009 legislation: Kitsap, Pierce, Lewis, Grant

Suggestions for our effectiveness with defendants: assign one person to make contact with the defendant, when the defendant is asked to rise by the court all in the audience in support of the defendant rise with him. Make communication protocol w/ atty for updates on court session changes.

Aaron Pelley is in attendance and of great support to CDC member volunteers. He handles possession, vacation/expungement of convictions and regaining of civil rights.

Dept of Correction policy err Form 14-053 needs nannied. Have been denied a defined policy for mmj as well as not telling pt's about form/policy, had an appeals of the policy/form due to vetting by disallowing mmj if they have criminal hx involving drugs and allowing if not then offering only Marinol (insert rebuttal for Marinol Doc defense here), the form asks for the primary Care physician to fill out the form instead of the mmj recommending physician, Doc excuse is they are concerned of legal liability of client while on work (insert recent Calif ruling here), CDC may submit a Public Disclosure Request to DoC for how many people have appealed and the results (et al/sic).

Dept of health - Public Disclosure Request of Information asking for all records of encounters with Dr. Ling and Dr. Karen Hamilton,

Accounting - all is in Quickbooks.

We have 18 paid members.

Volunteers - time sheet, things to do, collect emails, point person - provide the ability to get involved,

MQAC - attend these meeting, take our packets to hand out,

Mj Reclaiming your bong! -
